Most of my clients book with me 1-3 months in advance. However, I know timelines can get away from us with our busy schedules so if you have less of a notice, that is alright! Still reach out and I will let you know if I am available. When in doubt, reach out!

I am from the small town of Plain, WI (south-west WI), but I am so willing to travel!

I always say to bring at least two of your favorite outfits for the occasion. However if we have more time, feel free to bring a third! I love it when clients send me pictures of their outfits as well so I can visualize how I want the images to look.

The biggest thing is wearing something you feel comfortable and confident in. If you don't love it now, you probably won't in your pictures.

What colors? Natural earthy tones photograph the best with my editing style.

Considering a pattern? Aim for larger patterns or color blocks.

Rather than trying to match outfits perfectly, try picking solid colors that compliment each other. Pick a color scheme you all like such as pastels, neutrals, or monochromatic.

Yes! You can bring any fun props or treats you want! Some favs are: snacks (popcorn, candies, drinks, donuts, pizza, etc), blankets or pillows, smoke bombs (I have a bunch!), or extra hats or jackets.

Heck yes! I love it when you bring your fur babies! You might consider bringing leashes for your pet(s) so as to keep the session running smoothly instead of running after your dog ;)

If you are considering bringing your pet to a shoot, please let me know beforehand so we can make sure the designated area allows it as well. Dogs must be well behaved and leashed at all times. Aggressive dogs be asked to wait in the car or the session could be ended (in that case there is no option for a refund for unused time). All restrictions are for the safety of public and all participants.

Don't sweat it! I don't expect kids to be 100% invested in the photos. Kids get tired or grumpy and sometimes they just need a break. It can be a lot of pressure for them!

I am the oldest of five in my family, so I know a thing or two about getting kiddos to laugh or smile. I try to keep the camera rolling while you try to get them to laugh too so we get a few good ones eventually. Feel free to bring stuffed animals or blankets or snacks to keep them happy and entertained!

You will receive an online gallery link with all your retouched photos. My standard turn-around time is 4-6 weeks for couples, family and senior sessions. More often than not however, I have your gallery complete in less time as I know you are very excited to have them!

Please also be understanding that when your gallery is taking closer to the six week mark, that it is because there are other galleries I am working on as well... and life is busy!

You will be able to download your private gallery from the link but also share them, choose your favorites, as well as order prints, canvases, cards and more!

The quantity of images you receive is predetermined based on the session you chose.

I always choose quality rather than quantity, so after your session, I will sort through them all and select only the best for retouching.

You will receive an email confirming your gallery is finished the day they are complete! You'll receive an email link to view your gallery and from there you can download for sharing, print from your gallery and more!

Any of my photography packages may be broken into customizable payments.
The first payment is always due to book your session and the final payment is due a week before your session. (Terms apply.)
